WELCOME!
This site has been created to allow me to share my CCD astro images with those who may be interested in
seeing some of the glories of the night sky. I became an amateur astronomer in 1978 after taking
a course in college. After taking that course I bought my first telescope through Cliff Holmes of the
Riverside Astronomical Society (a homemade 8" F/5 reflector). After 24 years of looking through
the eyepiece (with an 8" newtonian, 6" newtonian, 8" LX3, and a 10" LX200GPS) I began imaging
in late 2002, and starting accumulating my Takahashi and other imaging equipment. In the summer
of 2007, I took delivery of a Skyshed POD with 5 bays and my imaging time grew ten-fold. Most of
these images are taken either from the backyard of my home in Redlands, California or from my
favorite dark sky site at Joshua Tree National Park. Note that if you are in the "My Photos" section
you can click on the image and get progressively larger versions. Enjoy the site!
